The event is co-organized by the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, University of Ioannina and the Hellenic Society for the Science and Technology of Condensed Matter (HSSTCM).

HSSTCM is a Greek non-profit scientific society founded in 1981 which is member of Federation of European Materials Societies (FEMS). The objectives of HSSTCM is to promote the exchange of new developments and achievements in the field of Condensed Matter and Materials Science, and to support their applications.

Participation to this workshop is free of charge for HSSTCM or FEMS members.

IMAEF is a forum for the exchange and fertilisation of ideas, knowledge and scientific achievements in economics and finance. During the conference, academics, researchers and practitioners will present novel developments in applied economics and finance and will discuss on currently debated issues.

The program includes high quality presentations. Senior invited lectures will address topical applied economics and finance issues.

It is a pleasure and honour to welcome you all to Ioannina, the capital of Epirus and active cultural and scientific hub. Together, we shall provide focused training and information in key areas which are often not adequately covered in Oncology Curriculae or are by their nature difficult to teach in structured educational programs. We hope you enjoy this initiative, as well as the mountainous landscape of Epirus with its monuments, lakes, castles and churches.

This year’s Masterclass will be held in collaboration with the Department of Medical Oncology of the University of Ioannina DMO -UOI) and the Swiss Group for Clinical Cancer Research (SAKK) with the support of the Hellenic Group of Young Oncologists (ONEO). Critical thinking and analysis, interaction and networking are the foundations and also the aims of this educational outreach, emanating from an academic oncology department of the Greek North-West. We are looking forward to social/scientific networking between young Greek and Swiss trainees and faculty, as well as an exchange of variations and common patterns in way oncology and research are practiced. We hope you enjoy and that we will see you again in further masterclass events.

The Congress organized by the Forum of the Adriatic and Ionian Chambers of Commerce and Arta Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with Ioannina University (Uniadrion member) and Split Chamber of the Economy (Forum AIC member). It aims to provide a cross-regional perspective on the best practices and prevalent challenges in scaling up women’s economic empowerment and entrepreneurial activities, in the field of alternative tourism in the Adriatic and Ionian Macroregion.

The event brings together a vast community of actors from across the Adriatic and Ionian area: experts, institutional representatives, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders, all of whom are devoted to the development of women’s entrepreneurship.

Although tourism is already one of the fastest-growing economic activities in the Adriatic- Ionian Region the full potential of the Region is not yet exploited in a sustainable and responsible way (as it states in the EUSAIR Action Plan, Pillar 4 – Topic 1 Diversified tourism offer). The congress will focus on innovation aspects of women’s entrepreneurship, alternative and potentially sustainable forms of tourism and related opportunities.

This edition will continue the tradition of offering state-of-the-art presentations, interactive workshops, and networking sessions. On the 16th and 17th different sessions and workshops will be organized, while on the 18th the Extraordinary Assembly of Forum AIC will be held.

IMA is a biannual series of conferences that started in 1999 and covers all areas of Chemical Analysis, including the development of new techniques, modern trends and applications in a wide range of scientific disciplines. To date many leading analytical chemists have presented their research at IMA meetings.

For the 11th IMA conference, it is our ambition to bring together some of the most talented and innovative analytical chemists from all over the world for an excellent scientific conference on the picturesque city of Ioannina.
