The University’s Library, officially named the “UoI Library and Information Centre”, is located in a separate building at the centre of the Campus, which consists of six floors, and boasts numerous collections that rank it among Greece’s largest Academic Libraries.
Our Library features open reading rooms with a seating capacity of 600 students, collections of 400,000 books and 150,000 volumes of science magazines and journals, a digital repository, a special archive of old publications, a book collection in Braille, special equipment for use by readers with visual impairments, closed carrels, an auditorium that seats 140 students, a seminar room, etc.
The Library runs in accordance with its Internal Policy, which all users are obliged to observe.
The Library portal provides a detailed list of all the services offered and readers’ obligations as well as access to its online catalogues, e-sources, e-journals, etc.
