The UoI Network of Research Supporting Laboratories (NRSL) was developed as part of an effort to upgrade basic and applied research carried out in the various Departments of our University. The first Network Lab Units were equipped in 1999, with funds from the Regional Operational Programme (ROP) of the Epirus Region General Secretariat. Subsequently, other existing or new Units were added to the Network, which were developed with financial support from the Epirus Region General Secretariat and the University or from other funding sources.
The Network’s main purpose is to promote large-scale research activities, focusing on scientific and cutting-edge technology fields, to strengthen cooperation between University research groups and to boost their scientific prestige.
Our University constantly seeks to expand its Network infrastructure, to support its operation with scientific and technical experts and to continuously evaluate and renew it.
You can find out more about the Lab Units/Centres that constitute the Network at the NRSL website.
