Schools Administration<\/h4>\n

The administrative structure of the University of Ioannina includes seven schools. Each School coordinates the operation of the departments, of which it is composed.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>[\/vc_column][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_tta_accordion active_section=””][vc_tta_section title=”Schools Administration” tab_id=”1455791163535-a261fbff-f341″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

  • the Dean<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • the Deanship and<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • the General Assembly of the School<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    [\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Administrative of the Department” tab_id=”1455791163714-d40e553f-803e”][vc_column_text]Schools are divided into Departments which coordinate teaching and research. A Department is administered by:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. the General Assembly which consists of the Faculty members of the Department, two to five student representatives, as long as this number is no more than 30% of the number of Faculty members, and one representative of the Special Postgraduate Scholars (S.P.S.) or the postgraduate students of the Department,<\/li>\n
    2. the Head of the Department who is a Professor or an Associate Professor and is appointed for an annual term by the General Assembly of the Department.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
