{"id":26543,"date":"2019-10-15T17:50:45","date_gmt":"2019-10-15T14:50:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/oldsite.uoi.gr\/?p=26543"},"modified":"2020-02-05T17:02:28","modified_gmt":"2020-02-05T15:02:28","slug":"11th-congress-women-s-entrepreneurship-of-adriatic-and-ionian-area","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/oldsite.uoi.gr\/en\/11th-congress-women-s-entrepreneurship-of-adriatic-and-ionian-area\/","title":{"rendered":"11th Congress Women\u2019s Entrepreneurship of Adriatic and Ionian Area"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Forum AIC is pleased to announce that the <strong>11th Congress Women\u2019s Entrepreneurship of Adriatic and Ionian Area<\/strong> will be held in <strong>Arta, Greece on 16th-18th October 2019<\/strong> at the Arta Chamber of Commerce.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Congress organized by the Forum of the Adriatic and Ionian Chambers of Commerce and Arta Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with Ioannina University (Uniadrion member) and Split Chamber of the Economy (Forum AIC member). It aims to provide a cross-regional perspective on the<strong> best practices<\/strong> and prevalent challenges in scaling up <strong>women\u2019s economic empowerment<\/strong> and entrepreneurial activities, in the field of <strong>alternative tourism<\/strong> in the <strong>Adriatic and Ionian Macroregion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The event brings together a vast community of actors from across the Adriatic and Ionian area: experts, institutional representatives, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders, all of whom are devoted to the development of<strong> women\u2019s entrepreneurship.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Although tourism is already one of the fastest-growing economic activities in the Adriatic- Ionian Region the full potential of the Region is not yet exploited in a sustainable and responsible way (as it states in the EUSAIR Action Plan, Pillar 4 \u2013 Topic 1 Diversified tourism offer). The congress will focus on innovation aspects of women\u2019s entrepreneurship,<strong><em> alternative and potentially sustainable forms of tourism <\/em><\/strong>and related opportunities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This edition will continue the tradition of offering state-of-the-art presentations, interactive workshops, and networking sessions.
